The 21-year-old midfielder is in the squad for the first time on the back of some impressive form for the Easter Road club in the Championship this season. He becomes the latest Hibs player to be capped for Scotland since Leigh Griffiths in November 2012.

There had been some confusion over whether McGinn would start after the original team sheet, released at 7pm, had him listed on the bench, but an amended version was released with him in the starting XI.
