The teenager’s hat-trick for the Hibees saw off Celtic 3-1 in their Scottish Cup quarter-final tie last Sunday and they will now meet either Capital rivals Hearts or Hutchison Vale in the last four.

Harrison, 18, was then notified on Tuesday she had been called up by Scotland manager Anna Signeul for the forthcoming Euro 2017 qualifier against Iceland in Reykjavik in ten days’ time.

However, she has now set her sights on continuing her goal trail in the Granite City tomorrow to keep Hibs within touching distance of Glasgow City at the top.

“I was really surprised to get the call-up but I’m delighted,” Harrison said. “She (Anna Signeul) was at the game against Celtic last Sunday and I spoke to her after but I don’t know if scoring a hat-trick maybe swayed her decision! I know a lot of the players in the squad so I’m really looking forward to it. But for the now focus has to be on Aberdeen tomorrow.

“They have had a good home record over the past two seasons so we’re definitely taking nothing for granted. We’ve dropped points up there before so it’s not a ground we particularly enjoy going to. We’ve beaten them quite comfortably at home already this season so hopefully we can transform that kind of form up there so it makes for a nice journey home.”

Harrison is now targeting a place in Signeul’s squad for next year’s European Championships in the Netherlands with Scotland standing on the brink of qualification.

“I’d love to go, it would be a great experience but it’s all about who’s playing well at the time,” she said. “I just want to try and take my opportunity if it comes against Iceland. Hopefully it will all go well and we’ll see what comes next year.”

Elsewhere tomorrow in SWPL 1, Spartans are on the road at Forfar Farmington and, in SWPL 2, Hearts host Inverness City at Riccarton while Hutchison Vale entertain Buchan at Saughton.
