Top of the Ladbrokes Championship and with winning momentum once more, Neil Lennon's Hibs side will be looking to continue their impressive form against fellow promotion chasers Falkirk at Easter Road on Saturday.

Lennon will have to do without first-choice keeper Ofir Marciano, who is waiting on the results of an MRI scan after picking up a knee injury in a training session while on international duty with Israel.

Ross Laidlaw will start between the posts instead for the Hibees, who may also be without Scotland squad-member John McGinn. Lennon is confident that the internationalist will be rested and ready to play on Saturday, but that is dependent on the midfielder’s contribution against England on Friday night. Marvin Bartley is the most likely midfielder to step in should McGinn not make it, with Dylan McGeouch unlikely to be risked from the start as he continues his recuperation from a hamstring strain.

Striker Jason Cummings is in contention despite receiving a red-card in a development squad game midweek against Kilmarnock, although in-form Martin Boyle is set to keep his place alongside Grant Holt in attack. Midfielder Danny Handling is unavailable due to his long-standing knee injury and James Keatings remains on the sidelines with a partial tear of his medial ligament.

Falkirk boss Peter Houston hasn’t seen his side win in three games and will be without the services of Lewis Kidd, who is sidelined with an ankle knock. However, No.1 goalkeeper Danny Rogers is available after being left out of the Republic of Ireland’s final 23-man squad for Saturday’s clash with Austria.
