Eric Sutherland said: “Losing a goal so late in the game but coming back to get a draw. Settle for that. Ends the losing run.”

Scott Kettles added: “Point was the least we deserved, they were poor. Criminal if we never got anything out of that. Good game.”

Jordan Brown reckoned: “Should be three points if we don’t give away a stupid foul but will absolutely take a point. Defence and midfield outstanding tonight just lacked that bit of quality up top.”

Alicia Souter tweeted: “We so deserved that! We deserved the 3 but I’m so glad we got it right up them at the end.”

Sean Nicol had a message for Celtic: “Hope your holiday was worth it, lads.”

Mat Priestley summarised: “Take that, could have nicked it at the end.”

Euan Boyle added: “Not the worst response to two absolutely shocking results.”

Robbie Howie wrote: “Decent point I guess, that Celtic team were much stronger than everyone was expecting, just missing strikers, which showed. Trust Hibs to give them the needless free kick they scored from, thankfully Mallan with the first decent cross of the game leads to a goal. Take a point.”

Raymie Coull was frustrated: “Ooft, that was a hard watch, Ross being too conservative as usual with his tactics. Wasn’t a foul that led to the free kick that Celtic scored. Then Hibs started to play forward with more energy because they had to. Jack Ross when are you going to learn?”
