Hibs loan round-up: Josh Campbell and Kevin Dabrowski catch the eye

It was a good weekend for Hibs thanks to a 4-0 win at Hamilton and a number of the Easter Road club’s loanees also impressed for their respective clubs.

Jack Brydon – Civil Service Strollers

The defender wasn’t involved as Strollers progressed in the Scottish Cup, eventually seeing off Blackburn United on penalties.

Josh Campbell – Edinburgh City

Midfielder Campbell took his personal tally to four goals and one assist in eight league games for Edinburgh City. The 20-year-old opened the scoring for the Citizens at a soggy Hampden, rifling the ball into the top corner despite the attentions of four Queen’s Park defenders. After the Spiders had turned the game on its head, Campbell scored his and City’s second, winning the ball on the left and firing in a shot from outside the box that looped over Wullie Muir with the aid of a deflection. James McDonaugh’s men went onto take a point with Gabby McGill equalising late on after the Spiders had retaken the lead.

Kevin Dabrowski – Dumbarton

Dabrowski built on last weekend's performance with a starring role for the Sons as they posted an impressive 1-0 win against Cove Rangers and now lie fifth in League One. The 22-year-old kept his fourth clean sheet of the campaign as Nat Wedderburn’s 51st minute strike turned out to be the winner.

Jayden Fairley – Stenhousemuir

The 17-year-old was an 86th minute replacement for Greig Spence and provided the assist for Cammy Graham’s late equaliser as the ten-man Warriors came back from two goals down to earn a point from their home clash with Stranraer.

Tom James – Wigan Athletic

Tom James continued his impressive form for the Latics, bravely diving to head Wigan in front against Accrington Stanley and getting a boot in the face for his troubles. The versatile defender, playing as a wingback in the 4-3 victory against John Coleman’s side, now has three goals in 18 games.

Dino Leddie – FC Malaga City

The centre-back was in the matchday squad as Malaga City struck three times gainst AD Malaka CF to cement their position at the summit of the table.

Paddy Martin - Stenhousemuir

Goalie featured for Stenny in their 2-2 draw with Stranraer at Ochilview. Couldn’t keep out a penalty from former Hibs team-mate Ruari Paton and had no chance with Stranraer’s first goal.

Fraser Murray – Dunfermline Athletic

Fraser was named among the substitutes for the Pars’ trip to Greenock, and came on for the last 28 minutes as Stevie Crawford’s side fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Innes Murray – Alloa Athletic

Innes was a first-half replacement for Wasps right-back Scott Taggart as Peter Grant’s side recorded a 1-0 win at Arbroath courtesy of former Easter Road youngster Stefan Scougall’s strike.

Ryan Shanley – Kelty Hearts

Striker made his debut for the Lowland League club and impressed. Although initially credited with a goal, it was awarded to Nathan Austin who got a touch on the Hibs youngster’s effort.

Callum Yeats – Stenhousemuir

Yeats is currently injured and didn’t play any part in the Warriors' 2-2 draw with Stranraer.

Connor Young – Civil Service Strollers

Young made an appearance off the bench as Gary Jardine’s side advanced to the next round of the Scottish Cup, defeating Blackburn United on penalties.
