Hibs welcome Hamilton Accies to Easter Road on Wednesday (7.45pm ko) as Jack Ross' side continue a busy period.

The 2-2 draw with Dundee United at Tannadice in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Sunday means Hibs could play eight games in 28 days.

Such a spell won't be helped by injuries, something which they suffered during the cup tie with both Ryan Porteous and Jason Naismith picking up knocks.

It gives Ross less options as he looks to steer Hibs further up the table and into European contention.

Visitors Hamilton are engulfed in a relegation battle but have recorded positive results either side of the winter break.

Hibs team news: Ryan Porteous and Jason Naismith are doubts following knee injuries picked up during the draw with Dundee United at the weekend. Stevie Mallan is out long-term following knee surgery.

Hibs probable XI: Marciano; Gray, McGregor, Hanlon, Stevenson; Hallberg, Omeonga; Boyle, Allan, Kamberi; Doidge.

Hamilton probable XI: Fon Williams; McGowan, Fjortoft, Easton, McCann; Gogic, Martin; Dales, Alston, Miller; Oakley.

Key clash: Hibs fans turning up to Easter Road on Sunday will be hoping to catch a glimpse of Stephane Omeonga who re-signed last week. If the Belgian is given a start he will likely come up against Alex Gogic. The Cypriot is Hamilton's defensive shield in the midfield but Omeonga has the quality, both physical and technical, to help Hibs create the necessary space in the middle of the park.

Last meeting: Hibs drew 1-1 at Hamilton back in October. Stevie Mallan opened the scoring with a fine finish but the Hibees were pegged back on the hour mark from the penalty spot.
