Hibs’ home match with Rangers in September has been shifted after the fixture was chosen by Sky Sports as one of the broadcaster’s live games.

The Easter Road side had been due to host the Ibrox outfit on Saturday September 19 at 3pm but will now play the Gers on Sunday September 20 with a 12noon kick-off.

The Capital club has been involved in three televised matches to date with this weekend’s clash against Aberdeen also picked up for live broadcast.

Christian Doidge scored a second-half goal to hand Hibs all three points against Dundee United at Tannadice on August 11, but neither side came out on top when Jack Ross’ side and Motherwell played out a goalless draw on August 15.

On Sunday, an injury-time penalty from Stevie Mallan snatched the three points for Hibs as they maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win at St Johnstone that was also shown on Sky.

Hibs now host Aberdeen in a live game on Sunday August 30 at 4.30pm and travel to Paisley to face St Mirren in a Saturday 3pm kick-off on September 12 following the international break.
