There was a surprise first start for January signing Chris Cadden while Scott Allan made his return to the bench as expected.

Steven Bell wrote: “Looks about as strong a line up as we could have today. Brilliant seeing Scott Allan back involved on a matchday as well. If that doesn't boost the rest of the squad I don't know what will."

Fraser Wood kept it simple: “Get the business done boys.”

Andy McKenzie swooned: “3-4-3 and a return for Scotty Allan. Not sure my heart can take this."

Cole Bertie was happy enough: “Some team, amazing to see Scott Allan back in the squad after some time out."

Charlie Banks felt the team was looking stronger: “Gutted Newell is missing out. Big loss. But, having said that we've got some squad now. Need to get rid of the deadwood and we're onto a cracker.”
