Kirk feels Hibs can still seek success
Hibs face Queens Park tomorrow afternoon at Lesser Hampden (kick-off 3:45pm) in the quarter-finals and Kirk believes his side has what it’s takes to win the competition. The Easter Road side are without Mariel Kaney (cup-tied) and Liz Arnott (away with national side); however, they welcome back Kirsty McLaughlin after the midfielder was missing at the weekend.
“We won’t be taking Queens Park for granted and will put out as strong a team as we possibly can,” commented Kirk.

“With reserve teams unable to get promoted to the SWPL, Queens Park are still in with a shout of coming up and are without doubt a good side.”
Kirk believes that last season’s disappointing Scottish Cup final defeat from Glasgow City is all the motivation his side needs to get their hands on the trophy this term.
He said: “It can still be a successful season if we can clinch second place in the Scottish Women’s Premier League and win the Scottish Cup.”
