The visitors were flying from the start as striker Bailey McKenzie netted a hat-trick inside just the opening ten minutes.

Robbie Peffers struck the crossbar as Porty continued to dominate and the fourth goal arrived before half-time as Lewis Moore bulleted a strike into the top corner from 25 yards out.

McKenzie would quickly net his fourth of the game after the interval, and Lennon Muir fired three into the the net in almost as quick as the time that his team-mate did in the first half.

McKenzie notched a further two goals to take his tally for the afternoon to six but Kieran Wilson struck the goal of the game as he fired in following a terrific team move which involved more than 20 passes.

Brandon McDonald completed the scoring with a header high into the net.

Hutchison Vale Colts 15s into last four

Division 2 Hutchison Vale Colts 15s are into the semi-finals of the John McConnell Memorial Cup after they crushed Division 3 Spartans FC Colts 5-0.

After a goalless first half in challenging conditions, Hutchie took command after the interval. Some fine interplay between Jack Gibbs and Dylan McKellar resulted in a goalmouth scramble which Moray Bean took advantage of to prod home the opener.

Further goals from Ethan Manson, Shayne McKenzie and Sam Mackie put Hutchie out of sight before centre back Jake Cunningham left the best for last with a long-range effort from just inside the home half which flew into the top corner.
