Junior Cup draw: Haddington handed home tie with Neilston

After two West scalps in the Scottish Junior Cup so far, Haddington Athletic will host Neilston Juniors of the Central District First Division in the third round of the competition later this month.

The Millfield Park men staged a remarkable comeback last Saturday, beating second tier Shotts Bon Accord in their replay on penalties after they forced spot-kicks from a 3-0 deficit.

The Hi Hi beat top-flight Troon at home in round one so they’ll be confident of progression to the fourth round.

Penicuik Athletic will take on Scone Thistle of the North Division on Saturday, November 19, while Super League champions Bonnyrigg Rose travel to Lanarkshire-based outfit Thorniewood United. Linlithgow Rose, Bo’ness United and Musselburgh Athletic are all on the road with visits to Dundee North End, Blantyre Victoria and Lochee United respectively.

Premier League Arniston Rangers travel to Renfrew while Tranent are in action away to Super League First Division side Cumbernauld United.
