Linlithgow slumped to another league defeat against a resilient Carnoustie. The visitors had much the better of the first half but could not find the net and were made to pay 10 minutes after the re-start when MacDonald found space from a set piece to direct his header beyond Hill. Linlithgow huffed and puffed but without creating sustained pressure whilst Carnoustie remained a threat on the break. To cap a dismal afternoon for the Rose, Colin Leiper received a second yellow card in the closing moments.

Penicuik were slow out the blocks allowing the home side to apply strong pressure in the opening 15 minutes. Lochee had three gilt-edged chances in this time but poor finishing and stalwart defending kept the scoresheet blank until the 43rd minute when Deasley scored from the penalty spot. However, in the opening minutes of the second half Penicuik picked up the pace of their game, but failed to convert the chances they created. Lochee then broke quickly from defence to put the game to bed in the 48th minute when Deasley again was the scorer.

A good win for Newtongrange against a team in good form recently. There was no scoring at the break but the fans had only a minute or two to wait before The Star took the lead when Sean Lally scored in the 46th minute. Recent signing Kyle Lander added a second in the 77th minute and they could have had a third but Lee Currie missed a penalty a couple of minutes later.

In a tight fought contest is was Armadale who came out on top. In a goalless first half neither side could dominate with both keepers busy without conceding a goal. The breakthrough came midway through the second half. Liam Kane fired in an effort from 18 yards. Tranent goalkeeper Ally Adams get a hand to it but he couldn’t keep it from hitting the back of the net.

Arniston kept up their push for a top-three finish with a solid win at The Violet. Arniston opened their account in the first half when Michael Deland scored. They had to wait until well into the second half before Lumbert Kataleza doubled their tally in the 70th minute. Deland grabbed his seconnd of the match in the 75th minute. Then, with two minutes remaining, Lee Milton pulled a goal back for The Violet.
