Penicuik Athletic reached the last 16 of the Scottish Junior Cup for the first time since 1981 thanks to a 2-1 replay victory over Pollok on Saturday.
Manager Craig Meikle told the Advertiser how highly he rated their victory.
He said: “I think it’s the best win Penicuik has had since we reformed (in 2002). It’s definitely my best as manager.
“It’s not just a one-off fluke result, as we went there and drew, before taking them back here and beating them.
“We proved over two games that we are better than Pollok.”
