Lions buoyed for Accies test

LIVINGSTON striker Rory Boulding is confident the Lions can bounce back from last week’s disappointment at Falkirk when Hamilton visit the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium tomorrow.

Livi were 3-0 down to the Bairns at half-time, but managed to wrestle the game back to 3-3 with ten minutes remaining, only for Falkirk to score a winner with five minutes left. Boulding reckons the squad can take heart from that fightback when Livi face Accies for the third time this season. He said: “I came on last week after the gaffer had said at half-time just to go out and win the half. That was all we aimed to do and it sort of snowballed from there. One thing led to another and we scored three great goals, in fact they were all spectacular goals, and it was just unfortunate that we conceded right at the death. It was heartbreaking really.”

Boulding, who has scored against Accies already this season in a 1-1 draw at New Douglas Park, added: “We’ve played Accies a couple of times already so we know exactly what we’re going to get with them. They are a big physical side, but I think we’re a better footballing side.”
