While the English girls are looking to prepare for the new term, it’s a different story altogether for the Capital clubs, who are already halfway through their respective campaigns.

Spartans coach Debbi McCulloch commented: “This game will help us focus our shape and style of play against a team that we know little about.
“It will be a fantastic challenge for our girls to play against top opposition.”
Hutchison Vale boss Ian McDonald is also looking forward to facing the Magpies, saying: “It is a testament to how far we have come in the last few years to be playing such great opposition as Newcastle.
