Penicuik will head to Musselburgh on Saturday for an East/ Midlothian derby Scottish Cup quarter final after they saw off Arthurlie.
In the ninth minute, an Arthurlie free kick taken by Blakey whistled past Bejaoui’s right hand post.
Penicuik went down to 10 men for 10 minutes while Ryan McCallum received treatment for a head injury.
Penicuik eventually however took the lead in the 32nd minute when a Ryan Gay corner was headed against the bar and Dougie Cunnison headed home the rebound!
Five minutes to half time and keeper White struggled to cut out a cross from the right and the ball fell to McCulloch but his effort hit the side netting to leave Penicuik 1-0 up at half time .
Just 14 seconds into the second half a Greg Ross pass back put keeper Bejaoui in all sorts difficulties, but fortunately for Penicuik the danger was cleared. In the 51st minute, McCulloch drove powerfully through the middle of the park only to be chopped down by Green who received his second yellow card and an early bath. From the free kick, Cunnison headed home but was ruled offside by the far side assistant.
