Winning return to Duddingston and East Alliance for James McGhee
The former Duddy member, who is now attached to Swanston, carded a three-under-par 69 at the Capital course to get his hands on the Hinton Bootland Trophy.
McGhee claimed the prize bearing the name of a long-time Duddingston member and also a life member of the East Alliance on the day he re-joined the circuit.

Hide AdIn a healthy turnout of 70, McGhee finished two shots ahead of Duddingston-attached James Dick in the scratch event, followed by Ian Anderson (Shotts) and Rob Paterson (Kilspindie) on 72 and 73 respectively.
Ratho Park's Craig Cruickshank and Donny Munro from Kingsknowe topped the handicap section with matching net 69s off one and three respectively.
McGhee's victory was the second in a row for Swanston after new member Peter Baumann landed the Berwickshire Trophy at Kingsknowe with a net 62 off 14.
The scratch spoils in that event went to Bathgate's Joe Boyle with a five-under 64, beating Newbattle's Craig Surgeon by two shots.

Hide AdEarlier, the Bernard Gallacher Trophy at Bathgate was won by Cruikshank with a 68,
pipping local trainee Ross Callan by a shot.
Next week we are Royal Musselburgh on Thursday for the re-scheduled event being The Andrew Oldcorn Trophy.
Heading into next week's rescheduled Andrew Oldcorn Trophy at Royal Musselburgh, Surgeon holds a narrow lead over Munro in the scratch order of merit, with Musselburgh's Phil Leggate out in front in the handicap points table.
