SUSAN McGILVERAY capped a superb tournament by claiming a double as Scotland finished in fifth place in the EuroHockey Indoor Nations Championship II in Denmark.
The Glasgow Western striker sealed a 4-2 victory over Russia with a decisive strike eight minutes from time. The Scots were 3-0 ahead at the break after another from McGilveray and two from experienced Dundee Wanderers star Becky Ward, But the Russian side powered back to make it 3-2.
McGilveray, who had been in fine form throughout the event in Slagelse, eased Scottish nerves with a neat finish.
