The Prestonpans fighter, 26, will return to the venue where he won his first professional belt in October with a fifth-round stoppage of former champion Dave Ryan – a fight that was broadcast live on Channel 5.

Undefeated Taylor is seeking his ninth consecutive win having defeated Mexican Alfonso Olvera on points at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last month but faces a formidable task against the current South African champion (26-4-5).

The fight will again be shown live by Channel 5.
