Lasswade’s previous visits to YM in the National Leagues just a few seasons ago have tended to be unrewarding and this occasion followed that pattern.

In spite of drawing the fairly stiff headwind for the first half the Borders side opened up a half time lead of three unanswered but unconverted tries.
The visitors stemmed the flow in the second 40 and won the try count but could not prevent the fourth try bonus that also ensured they came home pointless.
