One of Scotland’s newest sports has arrived in Midlothian.
Squash and Racketball Ltd in association with the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities programme are rolling out racketball at Lasswade High School Centre.
Ron Pearman, Chairman Scottish Squash and Racketball Ltd, said: “These are very exciting times for us and we are delighted to be working with Lasswade High School Centre to introduce racketball to Midlothian”.
The racketball sessions are part of a programme of free activity for 10-19 year olds that will run until August 24.
Shona Robison MSP, Minister for Sport commented “The programme of activity, thanks to CashBack for Communities funding, is one which will bring benefits to communities in Midlothian and across Scotland”.
