Children from Mayfield Primary School were at Ibrox Stadium last Tuesday enjoying a great day at the Tesco Bank Football Challenge.

The children were treated to a day of football fun with Scottish FA coaches and 300 other primary students from schools across the country.

The Tesco Bank Football Challenge is a four-year community programme run in partnership with the Scottish FA. The project introduces football to Primary 2 and Primary 3 children across Scotland to help get them engaged in a healthy and active lifestyle.

Jim Fleeting, Scottish FA head of football development, said:“We were delighted to welcome the children from Mayfield Primary School. The fourth year of the Tesco Bank Football Challenge has once again been a great success. We are also delighted to be supporting thousands of teachers along the way.”
