A host of East South League Cup local derbies sets the tone at the start of the new 2012 /2013 East Region Junior Football.
They start next Wednesday evenring and continue throughout August ahead of the start of the various league championship campaigns next month.
Proud Midlothian champions Bonnyrigg Rose (Super League) and Dalkeith Thistle (South League) gear up for their respective new championship campaigns – the Rose in the Super League and Thistle now in the Premier League – together with Penicuik Athletic and Newtongrange Star.
The four South League Cup sections remain the same as last season, when they were won by Sauchie Juniors (Group A); Linlithgow Rose (Group B and eventual League Cup winners); Broxburn Athletic (Group C); and Newtongrange Star (Group D). Linlithgow will be chasing a third consecutive League Cup title.
