FOUR of the Midlothian five Junior football clubs face important League championship games this Saturday in preparation for all five’s next week top Scottish Junior Cup ties just on the horizon.

Like the Scottish Cup draw that only saw local Bonnyrigg Rose favoured with a home tie and all four others away from home for this coming weekend only Arniston Rangers of the five are playing at home with Bonnyrigg, Newton grange ,Dalkeith and Penicuik all on their travels !

Penicuik Athletic inevitably it seems are away in the first round of the East of Scotland Cup to visit back from extinction Forfar West End now in the North League where the Athletic need a boosting win before their Scottish Cup trip to Girvan next week !

East Super League champions Bonnyrigg Rose are at home next weekend to Highlanders Maud in their Scottish Junior Cup tie but this Saturday they travel to former Super League champions Boness United for a tip top clash after Rose’s free Saturday last weekend when Boness won a stunning 6-1 away at St Andrews United.
