Archery fans in Midlothian are aquiver with excitement as they prepare to host the UK’s most prestigious archery competition in Penicuik this weekend.
The Penicuik Archers group has been selected by the British Archery governing body to hold stage two of the UK National Series, which is deemed the most important series of archery competitions held within the UK.
The National Series comprises five separate legs, each held within different parts of the country. When the event comes to Penicuik High School playing fields on June 18 and 19 it will be the first time that competition has been held in Scotland.
