Hat trick of awards and hall of fame inductee for Midlothian

Midlothian took centre stage at the first ever Scottish Indoor Bowling Awards night, winning three awards and having one of the first inductees in the Hall of Fame.

Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club’s Stacey McDougall won both the Scottish Ladies Young Player of the Year and the Scottish Ladies Player of the Year awards. Midlothian IBC were also awarded Scottish Indoor Club of the Year. And Midlothian IBC’s Jeanette Conlan, the most capped ladies player in Scottish indoor history, became one of the first inductees into Scottish Indoor Bowling’s Hall of Fame during the ceremony.

Stacey said of her awards: “I wasn’t expecting to win anything tonight and I’m actually in shock that I have won two awards.

“But I’m honoured that folk have actually voted for me and they believe in me.”
