Bonnyrigg snooker player Michael Leslie has entered the history books by becoming the first Scottish amateur to record a 147 break.
The 18-year-old – right – of Eldindean Place, was enjoying a few frames with his friend and rival Eden Sharav when the amazing feat unfolded. Captured on camera phone, his big break was recorded in just seven minutes and six seconds.
He explained: “We had been playing all day and after a few frames Eden decided to sit his camera phone next to the table and press record. It was a real stroke of luck that I pulled off the 147 break when I did!”
