Sixteen-year-old Lee Perfect is the new Scottish motocross champion, following in the footsteps of his brother Mark who won the title three times.
The Bonnyrigg teenager, a former Scottish gymnastics champion, sealed the six round Kawasaki Big Wheel championship at the final stage held in the Borders recently. Big brother Mark (21) now mechanics for his younger sibling.
Dad Mark said: “We were delighted he won. There is friendly banter between them but his big brother is obviously encouraging to him. Mark is delighted for his younger brother. He has now given up the riding. He was professional but it was difficult and he sort of lost interest in it.”
