Penicuik teenager Sarah Law was in action on Saturday as Scotland’s women took on Ireland.
The Scots put in a gritty opening forty minutes in front of a packed house at Lasswade to make it 3-8 at half time but couldn’t sustain the form as the second half wore on. The final score was 3-30.
According to the Scottish Rugby Union, more than 500 supporters packed the stand and the banking, under sunny skies at Lasswade, to watch Scotland Women take the game to the Irish in the opening phases of play. Scotland now meet Wales in their penultimate 6 Nations fixture at Scotstoun on Sunday, March 10, Kick off is at 2pm and admission is free.
