Murrayfield honour for Midlothian rugby stalwarts

Two Midlothian rugby stalwarts have received an invitation to attend a special Scottish Rugby event prior to this Saturday’s international.

Colin Johnstone from Penicuik RFC, and Jim Slight from Dalkeith RFC will represent the two Midlothian clubs in their club colours.

The pair will join representatives from more than 100 rugby clubs across Scotland on the Murrayfield pitch to unveil a specially-designed version of the new RBS Scotland jersey.

The Scotland team will wear the new RBD branded kit for the first time at the EMC test match against Ireland (kick-off 2.15pm).

The special event is being hosted by RBS and Scottish Rugby to reward the hard work that is done by volunteers in local rugby clubs and their members across Scotland and to celebrate the launch of the new RBS sponsored domestic league season.
