Penicuik still looking for first league win

Penicuik Athletic were left still seeking their first Premier League win of the season after losing out at Penicuik Park last Saturday to unbeaten Ballingry Rovers.

Penicuik had held the advantage for the first half hour but had nothing to show for their efforts chasing their 27th goal of the season . The lively Sean Paliczka shot narrowly past before combining with Grant Killin to send Chris Roxburgh through with only the goalkeeper to beat. However the unlucky Penicuik forward took the ball too wide and only managed to shoot high and wide as he fell over. Both Penicuik’s Roxburgh and Craig Millar missed the target with strong shots and a Keith Barr drive was deflected for a corner before the league leaders opened the scoring against the run of play.
