Pupils at Dalkeith High School have become the first in Midlothian to be introduced to a new sports based award.
The Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS) is aimed at p6-S2 pupils. One of the pupils, 13-year-old Shane Miller (above right), said “I am really excited about doing JASS. I plan to do Rugby as part of the Get Active, Stay Active section.” Also pictured (from left) are Jessica Napier (12), Adam MacDonald (13) and Chloie Ferguson (12)
Dalkeith High School now intends to involve its feeder primary schools in the scheme.
