Cartha Queen’s Park 41, Lasswade 7
Before this match only Dalziel had won at Dumbreck this season and Lasswade discovered why the hard way as they suffered their biggest defeat in several seasons.
Cartha flew out of the blocks and had the visitors in constant defence mode with some powerful forwards and lively and enterprising backs. With eight minutes gone Robertson fringed at a ruck, kicked the ball away illegally and was yellow-carded as well as giving Black the penalty.
Lasswade fought back earning four shots at goal but Brown narrowly missed the first three and when he had to retire with a facial injury, Wood was also slightly off his normal form.
