Sprint trio bid to extend run
City of Edinburgh cyclists John Paul, Kenny Ayre and Bruce Croall will bid to extend an incredible unbeaten run when they line up for the team sprint in tomorrow’s opening session of the Scottish Track Championships at Meadowbank, writes COLIN RENTON.
Weather permitting, the trio will be looking to strike gold in the first final of the day and ensure that the Capital club has never lost in a Scottish Championship team sprint final.
Croall and Ayre are also listed to contest the individual sprint, while the other events scheduled for the first day include the youths 500 metres time trial and pursuit events for women and junior women.
