The bout will take place in the Sport Palace in the Ukrainian capital on Saturday, April 23.

MGM fighter Simmons, 31, withdrew from the Rise of the Champions bill at Meadowbank 11 days ago citing personal reasons. His last contest was in January where he comfortably saw off Lithuanian Remigijus Ziausys over six rounds.

Meanwhile, super middleweight’s John McCallum has announced he will fight in Riga, Latvia, on Sunday, April 24. His opponent is yet to be announced.
