The results in round one were:Penicuik 14, Hawick Harlequins 28; Stewarts Melville 19, East Kilbride 7; Dalkeith 24, Thurston 5; Edinburgh Northern 27, Trinity Academicals 12; Murrayfield Wanderers 7, Boroughmuir 26; Lasswade 27, Portobello 7; North Berwick 0, RHC 36; Lismore 19, Edinburgh Academicals 24.

The winners from the round one ties then went into the Presidents’ Cup knockout stages, whilst the losers entered the Ladies’ Shield section of the tournament.
