Local Buzz: Stanley Odd
Tomorrow night at Liquid Room, the six-piece launch their second EP, The Day I Went Deaf - a record that features themes including the coalition government and being outsiders in society.
Formed in 2009, they released their debut album, Oddio, the following year to critical acclaim, with one review stating: ‘These Scottish hip-hop standard bearers sound much more relevant than the mighty Eminem, rapping stories that are social realism with a sense of humour and dance shoes.’
No faint praise, that.
