Calling all fans of the 60’s rock band Cream, did you ever see Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker in action in the Capital? Then music writer Richard Houghton needs your help.

He explains, “Cream are arguably the best ever group to emerge from the Sixties after The Beatles. In their short career, they played a number of gigs around the UK before focusing on North America, and amongst these, there were two shows at Magoos, formerly the Palace Picture House, in Edinburgh in August and October 1967.

“I am researching a ‘people’s history’ of Cream and would love to hear from anyone who may have seen any of these shows or any of their other UK performances.”

Formed in 1966, Cream are considered by many to be the original super group. They broke up in 1968 and in 1993 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
