Vintage Weekend comes to Grassmarket

STEP back in time with the Greater Grassmarket's vintage weekend Saturday and Sunday, from 12pm to 5pm.

Admire a range of classic cars, watch the models work the catwalk showcasing local vintage fashion, and browse the market for local pre-loved treasures such as vinyl records, pre-loved clothing and accessories, and bric-a-brac.

Renowned local boutiques such as Armstrongs Vintage Edinburgh and Godiva Boutique will be trading at the Edinburgh Grassmarkets vintage market throughout the weekend, as well as collaborating in the fashion show.

There will be a range of 30-minute long vintage variety shows with performances including a cabaret sword swallower act, and French can-can dancing showgirls. There will also be live music from 4pm each day from The Banjo Lounge 4, an Edinburgh-based vintage themed acoustic group. Children can also enjoy street entertainment and games from the Cavalcade of Miracles, which is a mix of circus, puppetry, magic, comedy and live music, performed by the Elsewhere troupe.
