Launched in 2012, Galvin Brasserie de Luxe was the second Scottish restaurant from Michelin-starred chef brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin.

Modelled on their first London venture, Bistrot de Luxe on Baker Street, the spacious brasserie offers a slice of Paris in the heart of the Capital.

Until the end of September, dine between 12.30-2.30pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and you can enjoy three courses from the lunch menu (excluding dishes from the crustacea bar and grill) and top it all off with unlimited Prosecco for just £39.50 per person.

Whether you choose to dine at a table or at the large, central bar, the Brasserie oozes joie de vivre, making it a great meeting place for families, colleagues and friends.

So much so, that it won Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2014. It was also awarded a coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand in September 2013 - Bib Gourmands recognise establishments offering good food at affordable prices - as well as AA Rosette Awards from 2013-2015.

Overseeing your dining experience at the Galvin Brasserie de Luxe are executive chef Fraser Allan and head chef Jamie Knox.

Fraser began his career in 2005 at The Peat Inn in Fife where he first met Chris and Jeff Galvin. He then went onto work for Martin Wishart at Cameron House on Loch Lomond, Willie Deans in Perth, Roy Brett at Ondine and he was Paul Kitching’s sous chef at 21212, before becoming head chef at the Galvin Brasserie de Luxe in September 2012.

Brought up in Carnoustie, Jamie moved to Edinburgh when he was 18 and spent two years at The Balmoral Hotel before working at Marco Pierre White’s River Room. He has also worked with Tony Singh at Oloroso and at the Michelin-starred The Plumed Horse, in Leith. Prior to joining the Galvin Brasserie team in May 2014, Jamie worked at The Scotsman Hotel.

With such credentials and now Bottomless Prosecco Lunches thrown into the mix, lunchtime at the award-winning Brasserie just got a little more exciting.
