Ironkids to the rescue at fun family weekend
The three family friendly runs are being staged in Midlothian, East Lothian and Edinburgh on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June.
1000 participants are expected to take part in each, consequently, organisers are looking to recruit teams of volunteers aged between eight and 26 to make it all happen.

This will include promoting events to the local community, organising squads of cheering supporters, race commentary, venue announcements and music playlists.
The venues taking part are Dalkeith Country Park, Preston Links, East Lothian, and Holyrood Park, here in the Capital.
Offering a unique opportunity for local young people to work alongside an experienced event team, volunteering will offer an opportunity to learn new skills, boost CVs and to learn from industry specialists in event management.
