Edinburgh soaks up the last of the summer sunshine as Festival season comes to an end
After a chillier start to the day than Edinburgh locals have been used to lately, temperatures will begin to climb around lunchtime, reaching a peak of 17C by around 4pm.
Although the skies will cloud over briefly in the early afternoon, sunny intervals are expected from around 4pm. The skies should then clear at around 6pm, paving the way for a sunny and warm evening.
