The Snuts are coming to Edinburgh - here's when and where to get tickets

JACK Cochrane, Joe McGillveray, Callum ‘29’ Wilson and Jordan ‘Joko’ Mackay, better known as The Snuts have announced that they are to head back to the Capital as part of a six city tour, later this year.

Following their sold-out UK tour last year and a run of dates with friend Lewis Capaldi between recording, The Snuts return to live circuit in 2020, with a spring UK and Ireland tour, including a 'massive' date in Edinburgh.

With a slew of floor-stomping hits and sold-out shows, 2019 saw The Snuts cement their place as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands and they intend to continue their rapid rise in 2020 with their dance-pit anthem Fatboy Slim and the announcement of a brand-new Mixtape EP, due for release on 13 March.

Packed with hooks and a groove that will drive even the most reluctant to the dancefloor, Fatboy Slim is set to be the anthem across the nation’s fields this summer. Recorded in LA with Inflo (Karen O / Danger Mouse, Michael Kiwanuka, Little Simz) and Tony Hoffer (Beck, Goldfrapp, M83) the track is the second to be taken from Mixtape EP.

The release also includes the band’s explosive hymn All Your Friends, the four-to-the-floor indie banger Coffee & Cigarettes and the heart wrenching Broadwalk, which shows a more vulnerable side to Jack’s writing and bares the depth of the band’s sound.

All are likely to feature when the band, who have been garnering a massive following in Scotland and across the UK with support from the likes of BBC 6 Music, Radio 1 and Absolute Radio, play the Corn Exchange, New Market Road, on Saturday 9 May.

With gigs in Dublin, Manchester, London, Cardiff and Leeds prior to their Edinburgh date The Snuts are definitely straight out the blocks to make 2020 their own
