Set over four floors, chef Paul Kitching’s opulent restaurant boasts views across the Firth of Forth, which makes the perfect backdrop for any meet-cute.

Serving some of the finest French cuisine you'll find in Edinburgh, the restaurant is pulling out all the stops on Valentine’s Day with a sumptuous five-course meal.

The aphrodisiac-laden menu is largely being kept under wraps but we do know that it will include baked scallop and carrot puree and shellfish bisque as starters, and a lemon meringue with a hint of ginger to round things off.

While you dine, you can gaze at your partner through a rose-tinted glass of champagne.
